Don't be handsome, let Sliders Cafe feed you. What a great diner-style dinner. Coffee was good, the service was so friendly and fast. The food was delicious, our party of four had wonderful things to say. If you love Slider, I recommend the Slider Sampler and then you get three different burgers. What Robin Prendergast doesn't like about The Slider Cafe:
New ownership. They used to serve very good pancakes and now it’s just one BIG dry one. Not good. In addition, they have gone up substantially in price. If u don’t order EXACTLY off the menu they charge a large carte. Two of us ate there for breakfast…I had eggs, bacon, hash browns and pancakes instead of toast. I love this saucy little town café. Sliders nails it with "loud "and friendly service from a crew who clearly loves and enjoys their time in the restaurant, or at least makes the best of it. We enjoyed every minute of our time inside, surrounded by fun wall art, and delicious flavors. Which led to one of the best meals of our trip to the area. So glad we stumbled on it. Relax!
This is a wonderful little café Ion La Conner. The staff was exceptional and the food was excellent. I'd definitely go back.
Locals have recommended this place as they are open for breakfast at the earliest. The business has the most precious ambience ever. Clean and well furnished with wall paintings and quotes in frame. The food was excellent. Your daily specialties are a must try. You have the classics, omelets, sliders, sandwiches, salads, soups and more! It serves breakfast and lunch from 7 am to 3 pm Wednesday to Monday. Friendly and fast service. Very recommended while in La Conner. The terrace is open for outdoor seats. CDC guidelines are available (i.e. wearing mask when entering, employees wear masks, cleaning and disinfecting tables. Installed dividers of each table.
Fantastic French dip. Stole a few of hubby's fries flavorful and fresh. We had pie first it was excellent. Small place but real mom and pop feel to it. Worth the drive.
