You will feel right at home, even getting to watch him cook in front of you. He is very familiar with what vegan means and will cook something to your liking from his ingredient on hand (there is no set menu). Next time I’m in Kyoto I will definitely be coming back here. If you drink alcohol I recommend chu-hais with sake or the homemade umeshu
