A lot to like about this place. The burger was fantastic, and they had craft beers on tap. It 's quite clear that they do not skimp on their burger ingredients. For example, the barbeque burger, what I ordered, featured a toasted bun, and a pretty thick slab of bacon. The box (their set) was served with fries and a slaw. The fries seemed a tad generic, but their take on the slaw had a touch of dill; very tasty. Overall, I would highly recommend this place if you 're in the neighborhood.
One of the best burgers I’ve had in Kyoto. The original is good, but the veggie burger is bursting with flavour and even better with avocado added on top! Nice location, wasn’t too crowded even though it’s quite close to several sightseeing spots.
Very good burgers, which were juicy and tasty. French fries were pretty salty tho. BBQ sauce was a great addition. My kids loved the place, which is cozy and relaxing. I will give another try!
*Fun Hawaiian, American Diner. *Tasty veggie burger, fries and coleslaw, nice mango juice. *Mustard and ketchup on the table. *I really enjoyed my time here. *There are also a variety of beer on tap from Kyoto Brewers. *The ground/1st floor has a better vibe than the upstairs/2nd floor. *The veggie burger is vegetarian, egg is used in the bun glaze I think. Closest to vegan is to ask them not to spread butter on the bun. *There are toppings you could add separately, like avocado.
The lunch timeline was worth waiting. We sat upstairs and we ordered ourselves down soon. I have the avocado burger who had a whole ripe avocado in it and it was absolutely delicious! Soaked rolls and good quality Patty. I have it as a set, but to be honest, the part of the salad was really uncomfortable. The dressing had some hints on blue cheese that pleasantly surprised me. I probably wouldn't get the set back and spend the extra on a real Pommes page. Friend got the Hungry set and again a bit disappointed with the portion size of the frits. But Burger was great and there are even instructions on how to reuse the sauce after eating to put on your frits.
