I ordered the enchiladas plat... read more I recently visited Casa Garcia for the first time and was impressed by the delicious authentic Mexican food and attentive service. I ordered the enchiladas plate and was pleased to find that they were willing to substitute grilled vegetables for beans and rice. The homemade sopapillas were a highlight of the meal, generously sized and sprinkled with cinnamon and brown sugar before being dipped in honey. I also enjoyed watching the staff make their homemade tortillas. While I didn't try any drinks from the bar, I heard they are excellent. I look forward to returning to Casa Garcia to try their breakfast menu on my next visit to Kyle. Overall, a great dining experience that I highly recommend.

Just be cautious when making a reservation for a large group, as their outdoor seating area is covered but not very well. Unfortunately, if it rains, the outdoor option is likely not feasible for a party of 20 people, as was the case with my group. They did their best to accommodate us by setting up smaller tables, but we were not all able to sit together, which was disappointing. The food was tasty and affordable as well.

It was a full house when I showed up, yet they were fast to seat me and bring me my food. My waiter Liz was the best. She was nice and friendly. The food was fresh and hot as well as the home made tortillas. I recommend this place toanyone looking for home style cooked food.
