My partner and I arrived after a day of travel late in kumamoto and were excited to find tortacos open and with several vegan options. the staff was very friend... read more My partner and I arrived after a day of travel late in kumamoto and were excited to find tortacos open and with several vegan options. the staff was very friendly. the place was full of what seemed to be native. it is a very cozy and friendly environment. the menu clearly displayed vegetarian elements and specified elements can be made vegan. after the order I noticed the vegan chorizo on the special board and asked to add it to my burrito. a language barrier led to the fact that I got two burritos, which were finally in order because they are tiny! they use a black bean spread, not really drilling, and there is no rice in the dressed. the burrito had a lot of salat and fresh veg, but was not super filling therefore the necessary for two. my partner got the veg enchiladas, filled with kartoffels and quite delicious. Overall, it was a great local culinary experience and a much needed and much welcome vegan eating in a place missing many vegan options.
