What Anonym dislikes about Schiff Am See:
I've tried burgers all over the world and thought this one might be different. It was big but average. Given the nice location and general surroundings it was ok. View all feedback.

(4/5) A prime location at the ferry harbor of Staad. The restaurant is in a rather dated looking hotel, well maintained but clearly from the 70s. We sat on the terrace enjoying a beautiful warm evening. Food was a positive surprise, very fresh ingredients from the region, cooked to perfection (our Italian guest called her Risotto 'the best for a long time') with great flavors. Traditional meals but all with real distinction. Desserts were particularly good. Service was good and friendly yet a bit slow. Ambiance is dated, more where you'd safely take your grandmother. Recommended.

We could not have chosen a better restaurant to celebrate my fathers birthday. The food was excellent, from the duck liver served with a Sauterne to meat which was perfectly cooked and tasty everything was perfect. Our friendly Italian waiter was eager to grant our every wish. I can only recommend this restaurant.

It could come from outside as an average hotel restaurant, but as soon as the food comes you will be thrilled! We visited the late Saturday evening, ordered 3 fish sheds on the recommendation of the waiter. Unfortunately, we were soon told that they were going out unexpectedly. So the waiter recommended salmon with Mediterranean risotto, which proved to be excellent. As a starter, the hokkaido soup was also very good.
