Loved the college library style ambience . Good cocktail selection . Hardly any vegetarian option , the sesame spinach and veggie rolls saved the dinner . The rolls were fresh and delicious, excellent plating too. Family enjoyed their ShipWreck and hamachi . Tiramisu in sushi style was brilliance . And delicious too. The restaurant is situated in the Grand Hyatt, and it's fantastic! I kept my expectations in check because resort dining can be hit or miss, but Stevenson truly exceeded them.

This is our seventh visit to Hawaii, and this restaurant serves the best ahi tuna we've ever had! There was no fishy taste whatsoever—just pure umami and a perfectly jiggly texture that melts in your mouth. The miso salmon was also quite delicious! However, the cocktails we ordered were a bit watered down, and the prices seemed a bit steep. I paid $8 for the miso soup, and I was hoping for something either exceptionally tasty or a larger portion, but it didn't meet my expectations. Despite that, I would definitely return for the ahi tuna. If you can’t get a reservation, they do accept walk-ins at the bar.
This is hands down the best sushi on the island! Lele Kavai is an outstanding server—she's incredibly friendly and has a warm Aloha spirit. The atmosphere is fantastic with a stunning ocean view. The setting is cozy and features dim lighting, creating a delightful ambiance. It's like a library of fresh seafood and sushi rolls. My husband and I began our meal with miso soup and sushi pizza. The Lobster Dynamite is an absolute must-try—cooked to perfection! I highly recommend their specialty rolls; the sushi is truly a work of art, and every bite is a delight.
