We had the 100 bat plate with different vegetable dishes, a chapathi and some rice. It was ok and the price was very good, but altogether not that tasty and the chapathi was in between hard and chewy
You have a lot of vegan options around there. I chose this one mainly because of the price. I was hoping for something simple but it was not even good food and not that cheap for the quality of food. I had better on the street for cheaper.
I've been eating here every day at lunchtime on my stay on Koh Phangan. A small plate is only 100 Baht and really fills you up. Theres different food e very day and everything is healthy and delicious! They have also a very good vegan chai, some desserts and kombucha. I can highly recommend it!
The food is alright, nothing that will blow you away in my opinion, but it's great value for money. Small plate for 100b or large for 150b. 50b to refill your plate. The small plate is plenty to fill you up. I had a vegan chai as well, which was ok, but don't expect it to be like a typical Indian masala chai. This was very milky and tasted mainly of cinnamon. This place is pretty much self service so just go to the counter and grab a plate and fill it from the buffet. PS this is no longer called Aree's and the map marker is slightly off. The place is opposite a massage parlour after turning in from the main road.
