A little greek restraunt with indoor and outdoor seating. Unfortunately, the chairs outside are quite uncomfortable but after a look at the menu it was forgotten. So many vegan options with vegetables and faux meat. As a starter I had gefüllte Weinblätter which were filled with rice. They tasted sooo good. It comes with a few small slices of bread on the side which was still warm, I loved it. As a main dish I had the vegan souvlaki. The plate was filled with souvlaki sticks out of tofu, fries and salad topped with a champion sauce. The portion was HUGE! If you're not super hungry it's probably impossible to finish. I really liked their food, I haven't had Greek food in a long time since Greek restaurants normally don't offer vegan options.

Preparation goes smooth, tastefully wonderful. Portions are fine. But prices have it in themselves. With a gyro complete with one to two drinks you can get at just 20€.

Perfect for a portion of Gyros in the middle quality range that is only served 50 minutes after ordering. Not to justify the price.

We visited the Elia Candia on a warm Tuesday and were there for the first time. The restaurant offers a small, charming outdoor terrace that was ideal for the beautiful weather. The reception by the waiter was friendly; he quickly accepted our drinks order, which were also served in time. Unfortunately the service left to wish. Although we wanted to order more food, no one came to pick up our order. We had to actively ask what's rather unusual. The appetizers, Feta Saganaki and Red Beete Salat were quickly brought, but the quality varied. The Saganaki was tastefully convincing, but appeared to us for about €9,20 compared to other Greek restaurants than overpriced. The Red Beete Salad for 9.50 € was disappointingly tasteless and not justified for the price. Our greatest disappointment was the long waiting period for the main dishes. After 30 to 40 minutes waiting time, while other guests arriving after us were already served, we still did not receive our order. Despite demand and the insurance that it would take only 5 minutes, we waited for another 10 minutes in vain. Finally, we decided to leave the restaurant and only paid for what we had already received. This visit left us with the impression that there is a considerable need for improvement in the Elia Candia both in terms of service and price-performance ratio.
