Ein wirkliches "mexi... read more Aufgrund der guten Bewertungen habe ich dieses Restaurant besucht. Die Speisen waren nur von einfacher Qualität und spürbar kalorienhaltig. Ein wirkliches "mexikanisches" Flair versprühten sie nicht. Wir mussten ca. 1 Stunde warten, was nicht gerade zur Zufriedenheit beitrug. Selbst mit Groupon Ermäßigung sind die Preise immer noch kein Schnäppchen.

The restaurant is decorated in a real cool way with a lot of posters and photos of movies. They have inside and outside seating. We had drinks only which were yummy. The music is really cool. The service kind and quick.

Trax, the restaurant manage... read more On a recent school sports tour to Cologne we arranged to eat at Mongogo on our first evening. It proved to be an excellent decision. Trax, the restaurant manager, was extremely helpful from start to finish in organising the meal and arranged a generous set menu for us. Our evening at Mongogo was excellent in every way. The woman who was in charge (sorry I have forgotten her name) and the other male waiter/bar man were both extremely friendly and helpful. Service was good, especially given the fact we were a group of 37, everyone got fed in good time with only short waits due to the sheer number of plates being brought out. The food was very nice and portion sizes were generous. It was particularly nice to see how kind and friendly the staff were with our school children, they were very patient as some of group failed to remember what they had ordered. Overall an fantastic experience, I would not hesitate to go back to Mongogo and would fully recommend it to anyone in the area.
