The venue is located in the “Südstadt” in the South of Cologne. Parking spots are scarce. The restaurant is decorated in a real cool way with a lot of posters and photos of movies. They have inside and outside seating. We had drinks only which were yummy. The music is really cool. The service kind and quick.
On a recent school sports tour to Cologne we arranged to eat at Mongogo on our first evening. It proved to be an excellent decision. Trax, the restaurant manager, was extremely helpful from start to finish in organising the meal and arranged a generous set menu for us. Our evening at Mongogo was excellent in every way. The woman who was in charge (sorry I have forgotten her name) and the other male waiter/bar man were both extremely friendly and helpful. Service was good, especially given the fact we were a group of 37, everyone got fed in good time with only short waits due to the sheer number of plates being brought out. The food was very nice and portion sizes were generous. It was particularly nice to see how kind and friendly the staff were with our school children, they were very patient as some of group failed to remember what they had ordered. Overall an fantastic experience, I would not hesitate to go back to Mongogo and would fully recommend it to anyone in the area.
Tasty food, nice workers and classy decoration. I am often in Cologne and I always pay a visit and drink my favorite frozen margarita.

The cocktail course is absolutely recommended. Also in Corona there was great mood, great info and delicious cocktails. Was really funny and understandable. The bar has its own flair, but you really feel comfortable.
The cocktail course was 1a, nice explanations in a very relaxed round. Snacks are also recommended!
Our cocktail course was a lively and active course. The 20 people were divided into 4 groups. Then 9 cocktails were mixed, each group mixed them again. Price performance is here in any case!
Good drinks and delicious food. Nachos with vegan cheese and Burritos vegetarian/vegan selectable!
Wir waren heute im Mongogo essen . Wir hatten einen Groupon Gutschein, drei Gänge Menü, Vorspeise war okay Hauptspeise war sehr gut und das Dessert war wieder okay . Alles im allen war es ein schöner Abend.
