How to simply say the best Italian restaurant in Cologne and the constant for many years.
Not only was the attentive local staff during my visit the absolute racers, but also the great ambience. In this place, I never happened to a meal that gets cold. The selection of drinks leaves nothing to be desired. I highly recommend the restaurant! My husband and I find the inn for all events, whether with man, acquaintance or family.
Another wonderful and delicious evening at Luciano Il Ristorante dal. 69. The food was outstanding, not to mention the service. Everything was top-notch as always. Many thanks to the fantastic team, both front of house and kitchen staff. We love it!
I've experienced many restaurants on my travels, but my visit to this Italian restaurant was one of the most disappointing ever. Although I grew up with Italians and spend time in Italy every year, I have rarely encountered such a condescending and unfriendly atmosphere. The restaurant appears very outdated and neglected, giving a questionable overall impression. Instead of gossiping about guests in Italian, hoping no one would understand, it would be more sensible to invest time in cleanliness and respectful service. The way other guests were treated was also disconcerting. I witnessed two young people being inappropriately turned away because they wanted to order takeout. They were even refused entry. I have never experienced such an unprofessional and dismissive reaction, even in very upscale restaurants. In my opinion, the price-performance ratio is completely off. The portions are small, which would be perfectly acceptable if the taste and quality were convincing. Unfortunately, the food was bland, tasteless, and far from authentic Italian cuisine. The waiters were also pushy and sleazy, which made the experience even more unpleasant. My personal impression is that young people aren't welcome here. For an ordinary restaurant that's far from being upscale or even a Michelin-starred establishment, this attitude seems out of place. Especially since the place is rarely busy anyway. In a situation like this, I think they can't afford to lose customers due to bad behavior or poor quality. I wish they would seriously consider professionalism, respect, and basic cleanliness. No restaurant is worth anything without customers, and this point seems to be slowly sinking in here. I've made up my mind: I won't be coming back, and I'll advise my family against it as well. My visit was a complete disappointment.
