From the tomato soup to the rump steak to the tiramisu, everything was perfect. Claudio and his daughter are very friendly hosts. We would love to come back and highly recommend the restaurant.

When... read more If you want to eat at Claudio's, you should know that this is a superb Italian restaurant, something for people who recognize and appreciate perfect food. When making a table reservation, which is mandatory, you should discuss what you would like to eat right away. There is no menu. Claudio cooks what he thinks is best, using fresh ingredients and based on what he has discussed with his guests. The quality is incredibly good, and the ambiance is correspondingly pleasant and appealing; a feel-good evening is guaranteed. His style of cooking does not allow for any vegan dishes.

Claudio himself is a fantastic restaurateur – warm, attentive, and always ready to listen to his guests. You can immediately tell how passionate he and his team are about what they do. As a guest, you simply feel completely welcome here. The food is consistently fantastic: fresh, sophisticated, and prepared with great care. The quality is consistently high, whether it's pasta, fish, or meat – everything tastes superb. For me, Claudio is a truly comforting restaurant and an indispensable part of my daily routine. Even the starter, Vitello Tonnato, was delicious – creative, fresh, and lovingly prepared. For my main course, I had salad with fillet tips, and that was also simply fantastic: tender meat, perfectly balanced with the dressing and crisp lettuce. We sat outside – the atmosphere was really pleasant and summery. The place is great, tastefully decorated, and invites you to linger. A huge compliment to the service: Sarah and Claudio took wonderful care of us – friendly, attentive, and with genuine warmth. The service was simply superb! Conclusion: If you want to enjoy Italian cuisine in Cologne, this is the place for you.
