Unfortunately it is rather pricey (not expensive by any means) but nothing for the small pocket either.

Food was good, staff was really friendly and helpful. Price was really decent too. The food and staff to... read more While visiting Cologne, I went with a friend. Cato was a last minute choice, since out preferred restaurant was closed due to renovations. The food and staff totally top notch. Our waiter was very pleasant and worked with me to explain the dishes, in english since I did not speak German. It was a Saturday night and as opposed to NYC restaurants that rush you out after you finish eating they did not. They just encouraged us to drink more more beer. I had the a fusion Indian Italian stir fry that was fantastic. The chocolate cate for desert was awesome. When I go back to Cologne a return trip to Cato is in the cards

Come to Cologne once in a while for business and tend to arrive late Monday evening this time 10:30 CET so was very pleased to find Cato (formally 4 Cani) still... read more Come to Cologne once in a while for business and tend to arrive late Monday evening this time 10:30 CET so was very pleased to find Cato (formally 4 Cani) still open. Was very surprised and pleased to be recognised despite not being in for 10 weeks! Even told me what I wanted!! Getting predictable but the Tagliatelle with Salmon and King prawns is delicious.... I was surprised to see the mixed reviews on this restaurant but have never had an issue always great food with great service. Very close to 5 star for me....
