Pakies - Knocktopher
Pakies
Description
Set in the Knocktopher countryside, this charming Irish pub serves generous, affordably priced classics — from perfect pints of Guinness to mixed grills, burgers, chips and soda bread — in a cozy, rustic room warmed by a fire and live Sunday music. Welcoming staff make it family-friendly and popular with holidaymakers and match-day crowds. Expect hearty portions and reliable flavor, though occasional noise, strong kitchen odors, inconsistent opening/phone info and basic restrooms temper the experience.

I wasn't too impressed with the restrooms and found the food to be average. The entire place had a strong food odor, and it was quite noisy. However, the staff was nice and helpful.
The food is outstanding and reasonably priced, the staff are friendly, and I highly recommend paying a visit.
My family and I had lunch here yesterday, and the food was absolutely fantastic! Even the kids finished everything on their plates. I can't wait for another reason to stop by again.
The restaurant was closed, and we didn’t find out until we drove 20 minutes to get there. They advertise as being open, but their phone number is disconnected. It was a complete waste of time.
Charming Irish pub buzzing with energy after a big match. The food is priced between 10 and 16 euros. There was a lovely fire adding warmth to the atmosphere, making it the perfect spot to order a pint and relax. We enjoyed the burger and chips, as well as a dish that resembled a turkey club. The other patrons were incredibly friendly.
