It appears to have been a converted house which adds to its cozy charm. I started off with a delicious Shopska salad and a refreshing 500ml Polish beer before indulging in a generous schnitzel dinner. The ambiance was warm and welcoming, and the service was both polite and efficient. The meal was fantastic and reasonably priced, providing a stark contrast to the generic chain restaurants like Montanas and East Side Mario's. Family-owned gems like Veslo truly deserve our support.

My boyfriend and I decided to try the Platter for Two to sample a variety of dishes, and we were blown away by how delicious everything was. The potatoes were perfectly cooked - soft and fluffy on the inside, crispy on the outside. The sauerkraut was flavorful and crunchy, not too sour. The standout dish was the schnitzel - not greasy and incredibly tender. Every item on the platter was tasty. The family who runs the restaurant were friendly and welcoming. A must-visit! *Congratulations on your wedding, as mentioned on the door signage.

The service was satisfactory, the schnitzels were tasty, and the shopska salad was above average. However, I was utterly shocked by the poor quality of the cevapi. Each cevap on the plate of ten was hard or burnt on the outside and overly salty when bitten into. In fact, all of our dishes were excessively salty. Despite the restaurant being somewhat busy, the food did not taste fresh, and both the cevapi and home fries were burnt. I had hoped for a good experience, but unfortunately, the opposite was true. I regret having to leave this review, but I must be honest.

We had the Hunter schnitzel it was delicious! Large generous portions! Delicious mushroom gravy. Red cabbage and Spatzle.. Natalie was an excellent waitress... Excellent service. Would definitely stop by next time we are in town.
