What User likes about Kinkaku Izakaya:
Nice little good looking place :) very crowded for a saturday noon. Had a plate for our group of four and voila, very good sushis !! Will go there again but probably on site :) View all feedback. What User doesn't like about Kinkaku Izakaya:
We reserved a table for two on a Wednesday night. The wait was 1/2 hour. There was a line. The menu was confusing but the waitress was very helpful. It was crowded and noisy. The food was average for a Izakaya, I've had better. Fish could have been fresher. If you have to wait and you want a noisey atmosphere with average food this is the place for you. View all feedback.

First the bad - no reservations are taken for less than 6 people, and the wait at Saturday at dinner time is an hour. The good - if you can wait, it's worth it....

read moreThis Izakaya restaurant offers a noisy atmosphere and average food, with some complaints of cross-contamination. Despite this, it has fresh and delicious food with excellent service. The wait can be long, but the experience is worth it. The all-you-can-eat sushi menu is recommended, with fresh sashimi and friendly servers. The smaller size of the restaurant means it can get crowded, but the food quality surpasses other similar establishments. The gluten-free options are appreciated, while the Karage and dumplings are standout dishes worth trying. Overall, this restaurant is highly recommended for a delicious dining experience.
