When I brought it to the attention of the owner or manager, she fi... read more I don't usually write negative reviews, but I found insects in my lettuce at this restaurant. When I brought it to the attention of the owner or manager, she first accused me and my boyfriend of lying. She insisted that there were no bugs in the lettuce. When I made her look again, she claimed that the bugs must have gotten in when we went outside, even though it was December and we went straight to our car after leaving the restaurant. Eventually, after I became frustrated and spoke up, she mentioned a lettuce recall and said that's how lettuce is now. She initially refused to give us a refund, until my boyfriend threatened to show other customers our contaminated order. At that point, she walked away and an employee provided us with a refund. I want to highlight that the employees were great and helpful, it was just this particular lady who was the issue. If she had apologized and handled the situation better, I wouldn't feel the need to leave this review. But because of her rude behavior, I felt it necessary to share my experience.

Every time (about 20 times) I've been there, the workers were kind and helpful (for example I asked how hot the yellow peppers that were displayed were thy said they were mild) Any ways the burritoe are litrelly the best I've ever tasted, the service is kind and helpful the building is clean and professianl the food is healthy and made in front of you (subway style) WHAT is not to love?!

I will not return to a restaurant where the employees appear to genuinely despise their jobs...or even worse, the customers. I witnessed several customers recei... read more I will not return to a restaurant where the employees appear to genuinely despise their jobs...or even worse, the customers. I witnessed several customers receiving the same unwelcoming and impersonal service. It is not worth it. There are other restaurants nearby where I can satisfy my craving for a burrito bowl.
