Lindley's cafe offers a warm retreat from the rainy weather with delicious soup and paninis, providing good value for money. However, the lack of indoor seating and rude staff have left some visitors with a negative impression. The cafe is praised for its cozy atmosphere, friendly service, and good quality food and drinks. Lindley's is a popular spot for breakfast and lunch, though some areas for improvement have been noted. Overall, it's a quaint cafe worth a visit for a pleasant dining experience.

Was sheepygold at Lindleys Cafe a mag?
I stopped by this cafe while visiting the hospital nearby. It's a cozy spot with seating upstairs that is larger than it appears. The coffee is good, the cakes are delicious, and the staff is friendly. View all feedback.

What neesy ben dislikes about Lindleys Cafe:
we were in lindley for a hairdresser visit, the weather was awful. we decided to have lunch while the weather [hopefully] improved. we took the two easy chairs by the window in the warm dry. hubby chose soup of the day, which was butternut sweet potato, served with a generous helping of french bread. i chose a bacon/brie onion chutney panini with salad. we had a coffee tea respectively for our drinks. hubby loved the... Had lunch here with family today and the owners attitude is absolutely disgusting, calling us liars, miserable professional complainers, all because we found a questionable item on a family members plate, when shown to the waitress we was told the meal would be deducted,...when we went to pay we was told we had to pay for what had been eaten off the plate, the owner actually said to us that we could of put something on the plate, even when the waitress confirmed there had been something on the plate, the owner still insisted she was correct. Would recommend others to avoid we certainly won’t be going back.

Beautiful choice of food here, in a lovely cosy atmosphere. A few seats downstairs, and plenty upstairs. Gorgeous sandwiches, platters and cakes!

My girlfriend and I went to Lindley’s for lunch at about We ordered a coffee from downstairs then were told to find somewhere to sit upstairs and we’d have our coffees brought up and orders taken from the table. I had a soya milk...caramel latté and my gf had a ‘normal’ caramel latté. Both looked and tasted really good! For food we ordered the hot beef and onion sandwich and a gluten free mozzarella and pesto chicken toastie. Both didn’t take long to arrive and were hot and nicely presented (see pics Our only criticism is that we both don’t really eat side salad (I really don’t like onions so once they’re on everything else is off limits) and think an option to have crisps and coleslaw or something as a side would be a nice addition. My gf said her hot beef sarnie was great and my toastie had loads of delicious filling so for that.
