My daughter booked a birthday party here for my 2 year old granddaughter ,i think there were about 10 similar aged children invited and turned up,there's a play... read more My daughter booked a birthday party here for my 2 year old granddaughter ,i think there were about 10 similar aged children invited and turned up,there's a play area which they all seemed to enjoy and then the party food is upstairs, it was well organised and all the children seemed to enjoy, we weren't rushed to leave,all in all it was quite good,this pub/restaurant is fairly close to my daughter and her family's home and they visit fairly regular

The garlic mushrooms were... read more We visited for a family meal. Whilst the staff were lovely the food was terrible. The steaks were badly charred and took ages to chew. The garlic mushrooms were cooked within sight of garlic, but contained almost none. The peppercorn sauce was bitter and ruined the nice chips. Oh, the chips were nice. Highly recommend visiting if you only eat chips.
