Typically, we enjoy their fish and chips, but this time I was extremely disappointed because the chips were undercooked. As a result, we only ate the fish and had to discard the chips. What a waste of food and money! This experience has deterred me from ordering from Chip Box in the future. I will continue to patronize Dewsbury Fisheries and Mother Hubbard's instead.

We have always enjoyed our takeout meals on weekends, especially since I have been disappointed by other restaurants in town. I am incredibly impressed by the quality of food and service at Chipbox, and I always recommend it to others in town. Unfortunately, due to the current lockdown, Chipbox is closed to the public. However, I urge anyone reading this to visit as soon as they reopen. My only suggestion for improvement is that Chipbox should establish a social media presence, as many people I speak to have never heard of this great place.

We went this afternoon fo... read more I dined here five years ago and wasn't particularly impressed, but after reading the recent reviews, I decided to give it another try. We went this afternoon for a large fish and chips, along with extra chips and some curry sauce. Wow, the portions are incredibly generous! The fish was the size of my arm and could easily satisfy two adults and a teenager. The large chips could easily be shared among 4 to 5 children. Everything tasted fantastic, and I would highly recommend it to everyone. There was a slight wait while the fish was cooked, but it was only about five minutes or less, so I can't complain. The service was also excellent!
