Typically, we enjoy their fish and chips, but this time I was extremely disappointed because the chips were undercooked. As a result, we only ate the fish and had to discard the chips. What a waste of food and money! This experience has deterred me from ordering from Chip Box in the future. I will continue to patronize Dewsbury Fisheries and Mother Hubbard's instead.

The fish is not overly oily or greasy. It’s just what you’d want when you’re craving fish and chips.

My partner was visiting from the US and this would be her first fish and chips experience so we were off to a great start. Fish and chips twice, battered sausage, mushy peas and curry sauce all to a top standard in minutes flat, right at the end of their day. They kindly threw in a scollop and fishcake with our order too more for my partner to try! Very accommodating, very friendly, very generous, and good quality food. Definitely recommended.
