Description

A budget-friendly restaurant with mixed reviews, this unlicensed establishment in Mirfield offers delicious curry dishes, despite some setbacks. The lack of customer service is evident, but the busy atmosphere indicates that it attracts a good number of patrons. While some found the portion size and taste disappointing, others praised the tasty food and friendly staff. Brighter lighting and improved organization are suggested for a better dining experience. Overall, this restaurant may appeal to those looking for a cost-effective curry option in the area, but it may not be suitable for those seeking a more upscale or polished dining experience.

My friends and I dined at this restaurant one Friday night at 8:00pm. There is a free car park across the road, but the website was unconventional and didn't clearly state that the restaurant was unlicensed. We were greeted and shown to our table, but that was the extent of our interaction with the staff, aside from ordering our food. The poppadoms were standard supermarket fare, with three watered-down dips. The mixed starter was a bit small, but tasty. Unfortunately, the chapattis were disappointing as they were clearly store-bought. However, the chicken tikka bhuna curry was delicious. After our plates were cleared, we waited for 20 minutes before the bill was placed on the table with no further interaction from the staff. We paid and left without any farewell. Despite the lack of customer service, the restaurant was busy when we left at 9:30pm, indicating that they do attract a lot of customers. Our bill, without any drinks for three people, came to £57. It seems that this restaurant may cater to those looking for a more budget-friendly dining option.

Went here on a the off chance as we were in the area. The place was really quiet. Poppadoms were fresh. However, the dips mango chutney, yogurt and mint were very watery. I ordered the lamb balti rajistani. I wasn't disappointed, very nice full of flavour, a little bit of heat from the fresh green chillies
