The personal is all young students and they have no knowledge. they were not properly trained. there is no one looking at the tables for customer needs. you could eat your dinner and wait until you have time to see if someone will show up to show up to ask for the bill. I had to go and ask, and while I made it a customer canister and asked for the bill. After we had the money ready, no one came to the money when I did it myself, there was no one, and I just left it on the street and went out. the lunch menu is terrible and dry. 10oz ribeye was under average and for what they can pay them much better. glasses were dirty. no penalty for young students. it's management. I wouldn't really waste my money there.

For over 30 years we are here. eat and service excellent. personally very attentive and polite. best it was for many a year. keep it up. was simply back with mama. excellent fishing and chips. would like to have had a few haggis on the st andrews day. maybe next year.

The 2 employees were flew away from the feet. I would not recommend this place. the manager should apologize for his return and apologize for the personal. I was there and we had booked well, but until we were served they had not much left. when they first knew what we wanted from the menu and how many. I thank the waitress who could not serve us as she was in the age to drink. the young man he was very committed. he could serve us. the meals we had were excellent. the 2 employees very professional.

Was brilliant, very friendly attentive and efficient. we hadn't booked and she followed us. only critique would be a limited menu. However, eating was very good, well presented and hot.

My partner and I visited today. Soup wasn't up to much, fish was cardboardish and macaroni was stodgy like it had been reheated in the microwave and garlic bread was solid. Also asked for mushy peas and I received a portion of squashed garden peas but we found same vary amusing. To make things worse the little chef was sat on the counter chewing away at his fingers and pissing about on his phone. We have been before and it was ok but definitely won't be back. We were the only ones in the restaurant and I think that sums it up. We only had to pay for the drinks which came to a reasonable £4.
