The staff was extremely rude, and I initially thought it was just us until I overheard other customers expressing their dissatisfaction. One customer pointed out that the employees seemed unhappy, and the person claiming to be the manager responded defensively, insisting they were not unhappy. I was taken aback by this unprofessional behavior. If the manager had been more present, perhaps the rest of the staff would have shown more effort. We visited on a Saturday afternoon at 4 PM, and the restaurant was empty—now I understand why. The service was awful; they didn’t have french fries and refused to serve them in a container, instead carelessly placing them on a paper napkin, which felt unsanitary. The biscuit was dry and crumbled apart, making it nearly impossible to eat, and the bacon was so tough that I struggled to bite into it, ultimately having to take it out of my sandwich just to be able to enjoy my meal. Additionally, my daughter never received her drink, and after what felt like an eternity, someone finally brought it over with a noticeable air of contempt. I will not be going back to Bojangles on North Heritage Street near the hospital. The way the staff treats paying customers is shameful, especially the manager, who only contributed to the problem instead of fixing it. I am still in disbelief at the rudeness displayed; as a leader, she should be setting a much better example for her team.

On my first visit, I thought they were just busy; however, during my second visit, with only four cars in front of me, it still took over 20 minutes to place my order and another 10 minutes to get my food. Despite the lengthy wait, the food was enjoyable.

Every time I ask for extra cucumbers, I still only get four, and this has been the case at all Bojangles locations in the Kinston area. Aside from that, they are fantastic!
