What User likes about The Old Bank House:
We stayed in this hotel, and had a very good breakfast there three days running. There is an excellent choice of food, well prepared, and of very high quality I recommend the Union Hall kippers. We also ate there on evening in the TapaSu' which has very recently opened. The food here is very fresh small tapas, made with local ingredients, and a decided Indian focus. The chef is from Bangalore, and his aim was to captu... View all feedback. What User doesn't like about The Old Bank House:
Sandwich was nice but nothing special. Fellow guests said quiche was just heated in the microwave and tasted like it was mass produced. Double Espresso was average, a bit powdwery and bland. Service was ok View all feedback.

The hotel received mixed reviews, with guests mentioning issues like outdated rooms, maintenance problems, and noisy surroundings. However, the friendly staff and convenient location across from the bus station were highlighted. Despite some disappointments with the accommodations, the hotel restaurant, Tabasu, received glowing reviews for its beautiful terrace overlooking the harbor, delicious food, and attentive service. The breakfast was particularly praised for its extensive menu and wonderful staff. While some may not recommend staying overnight, stopping by for breakfast is highly recommended. Overall, the hotel may have its flaws, but the restaurant proves to be a hidden gem worth visiting.

You can't beat the location and beautiful views of the marina from this old bank building turned into a hotel.

Amazing spot for lunch right infront of a parking lot. Very clean spot and the staff were stunning. My only issue was that the tables are on top of each other

An early start, not many around. Coffee was good, as was scone, but eggs seemed to be made in microwave, very rubbery.
