Overall, Max's is a fabulous family-run restaurant with fantastic fusion cuisine and a passion for locally sourced produce. While some guests expressed concerns about portion sizes and slow service, many highlighted the delicious food and welcoming ambiance of this restaurant.
We had an excellent dinner at Max's to celebrate the end of our time in Ireland. The meal was delicious and made with fresh ingredients.
The seafood dishes at this restaurant were prepared perfectly. We started with calamari and prawns on a bed of soba noodles sweetened with a sweet chili sauce, and followed with monkfish for our main course. We would definitely come back again.
We had dinner at Max's for the first time and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The staff gave us a warm welcome and provided excellent service. The dining area was beautiful with well-spaced tables, and the menu offered a variety of tempting options. The food was delicious and paired perfectly with the great selection of wines. We left feeling completely satisfied and in high spirits.
The seafood was excellent, the service was very friendly and the ambience was pleasant. My only quibble was the time it took for the main course to arrive. It was at least 30 mins after the starter was finished.
Dined here many years ago and were keen to revisit. It is a top class restaurant serving top class food and my daughter and I had a very enjoyable evening.
