Fishy Fishy - Kinsale

Nice place. eating was good. the service was in the average.

The brown bread starter had a great molasses-forward flavor. Great scallop special served with a mushroom risotto and a saffron lemon cream sauce. Perfectly seasoned and cooked The sticky toffee pudding was good, but it was served with cream and not ice cream and was a touch dry. Service was efficient and the ambiance is beautiful.

A comfortable restaurant with some of the best foods that can offer kinsale. the fish dishes are absolutely amazing. baked potato skins are divine. the personal is wonderful and can not do enough for the guests. recommend this restaurant when they visit kinsale

I really wanted the negative reviews to be wrong, but they weren't. we have booked a table day, arrived in time, no one has greeted us at the entrance for at least 10 minutes (we are pretty hard to miss with a 7yo and a small child around). we finally sat down and no, it was not a busy afternoon. No one offered a high chair for the baby, although they did that for another group. our waitress was quite unparticipated, told nothing about eating or even the fact that there was an additional menu. she stared at our teller while we ate and it was a bit unpleasant. we felt a little hurry and unwilling, but I guess it was standard behavior. eating was good, not something wow, but good, and I would go back for the oysters and the fish soup. the sirloin was smart, although he was medium. overall not worth the hype

Here in 15/10/2022 had a booking for 7.15, but early called and asked it was a possibility to take us an hour earlier. the front of the housewife was so pleasant and said she would fit us. the waiting staff was so helpful and friendly and the food supplement was delicious. I had steak cooked exactly as desired. I would recommend fishy fishy.
