We had a warm welcome on arriving for our meal, it was nice to see that all COVID precautions were taken, checking our COVID certs etc.But the food, the food was fabulous, the garlic bread, all the house specials, mussels, pizza , pasta, they were all tremendous We will be back next time we are in Kinsale. We came out of Black Pig and smelled the wonderful aroma of garlic. Walked in and made a reservation on the spot. They said they would call us the next day but I never received a call. Great food, excellent service. Definitely worth a visit, best to book in advance as is a busy and popular restaurant.
Had two delicious meals here over bank holiday weekend. Very reasonably priced. Fresh produce, beautifully cooked. Friendly staff.

This restaurant is fantastic! The food, staff, and atmosphere are all top-notch. The pizza and steak were cooked to perfection with high-quality ingredients. I highly recommend this place.
I recently had one of the best dining experiences at this restaurant. We called ahead to apologize for being late close to closing time, and the 4 women running the place were incredibly understanding and assured us it was no issue. We each ordered a pizza and were impressed with how quickly the food came out. The portions were generous and the pizzas tasted phenomenal. For dessert, we enjoyed a simple but delicious dish. The affogato was amazing, and the Chianti Classico paired perfectly with the pizzas. The staff were so kind and welcoming, making it one of the most wonderful nights I've had in a long time.
