Description

The Dock on Kingston's Foreshore is a pub near Griffith Lake that offers a lovely location but disappointing food and service. Despite this, visitors can enjoy discounts with entertainment books and two-for-one deals on certain days of the week. The atmosphere is typically lively, especially on weekends, with an extensive beer and wine selection. Overall, The Dock is recommended for its good pub food, particularly the Southern Fried Chicken burger, and pleasant atmosphere for a casual meal or drinks with friends.

The Dock is a real hit along the new and bustling Kingston Foreshore - which itself is a relaxed atmosphere and you're guaranteed a nice time. The venue is impressive & staff welcoming. As a sauce-lover, the sauce-dominated Southern Fried Chicken Burger was really nice. The Parmi was thick, piping hot & topped with a beautiful parmigiana home-made style sauce. Sweet Potato Fries were just okay, and chips were a little on the average side. Nothing too spesh; but certainly a nice place to meet & have a drink with some friends.

Dined here with friends I was visiting in Canberra – lovely place and location. Warm/sunny day we sat outside. 2 of us had the barramundi – tasty dish that we both enjoyed and the other diner had the Southern Fried Chicken which looked really good and she enjoyed it. They had an entertainment book so we enjoyed a nice discount off the total bill at the end.

We went for the Monday two for one pizza deal and got the chicken and salmon pizzas..both were delicious! They said a 40 min wait on pizzas but they came out much faster. Nice chips and great ambience as well. Will be back.

Went here for lunch after walking the full length of the board walk. We had never been here before and thought we'd give it a go instead of the other places we had been to in the area.Mainly chose it as it seemed to be the busiest. (I think the reason for this was it was 2for1 pizza/pasta day).Service was quick and friendly but the food was very ordinary to say the least. We had the chicken burger. The price of chicken was cooked too much and hard as a rock, hard to believe since it came out so quick, which makes me think it had been sitting for a while just waiting for someone to come along. Also there was no taste/flavour to the food, very ordinary. Not sure if we'd be bothered to go back considering the amount of other places on offer in the same location.
