Cluck Bar - Kingston

Been going to Cluck bar for the past 6 years but this is my 1st review. I have always been impressed by the Athenean souvlaki and the crunchy thick cut chips. Have had a few things of the menu including the fried chicken, chicken pasta and scallop potatoes and all were good.

Just had a horrible and weird experience at this Chicken Bar. I asked the waitress if it was ok to clean a table outside as it was dirty with left over food. The waitress seem to take offense to me asking and after back chatting me reluctantly cleaned the table. .After we ate our food I assume, the owner of the business came out and abused me and said not to come back because i complain a lot when i simply asked if it was ok to clean the table. I tried to explain it to him whilst he was shouting but he said i don 't like you, you complain to much and dont come back . I felt sorry for the customers so i didn 't make a fuss as they were intimidated by the owner. I highly do not recommend this place as their customer service and lack of respect towards paying customers is undeserving of business.....MY ADVICE GIVE THIS PLACE A MISS..

One of the best tasting Souvlaki's we have ever had. Great service, good hearty food, good value for money. Also one of the best chips we have ever eaten.

We go here regularly for take away. Chicken is cooked to perfection over hot coals My favourite though is the original Greek souvlaki (gyros). It's exactly like what you get in Greece, very authentic, including the chips inside.

Just for the simple souvlaki, can't go wrong here. If you aren't the biggest eater, just get the smaller size. Have had the lamb and the chicken and for the price, it's a cheap, good feed.
