What Serena McCullough doesn't like about Brown Rice:
Warning.....overpriced for a starter. The waiter said the Pad Thai was homemade and delicious, just like Bangkok. It arrived decorated with dry unseasoned salad. I had ordered it with chilli, it arrived chopped up and raw. For just under $18, it was awful, didn't finish...it. They didn't offer to make it up somehow either. Don't go... View all feedback.
Brown Rice is our favourite local Thai restaurant. Service is friendly and prompt and the food quality and presentation is excellent. Not to be missed if you're in the area.
Well presented, fresh ingredients. I've spent a lot of time in Thailand and this is up there with the best I've had.

We have been keen patrons of this restaurant until our last visit which turned out to be a real disappointment.
I just moved away from my favourite Thai restaurant, Peds Cafe in Malvern East, which is quite simply the gold standard as far as I'm concerned in Thai food. So when I found Brown Rice close by my new place I was worried that I'd be disappointed. I wasn't. What a lovely restaurant, classy yet modern atmosphere, friendly authentic staff, and the food was goooorgeous. I could go on about it, but why bother. It's great. Plus I'm in a food coma..... Enjoy!!
