During my travels, I like to explore a variety of dining options, but Juniper deserved a special mention as I visited it twice! I stopped by for takeout lunch one day and found the place so charming that I returned for breakfast the following morning. Imagine a picturesque medieval building right by the river with the sound of crashing waves—yes, it was just as delightful as it sounds—and they served amazing warm lattes. It truly embodies the essence of Kingston. This is a must-visit spot! Don't miss out on the milk butter scone.
What a gem! I've been meeting my sisters in Kingston for decades, and we have always been enchanted by this beautiful city and all that it has to offer. This weekend, we gathered at Juniper Cafe, which is situated in the most picturesque spot! We visited last Saturday shortly after it opened, so it wasn't too crowded at first, but within an hour, there was a steady stream of patrons. The location by the water is an added bonus, and we will definitely return in the warmer months to take advantage of their outdoor seating. Our coffee and breakfast sandwiches were delicious, and we were not disappointed by the heavenly freshly baked goods and wonderful coffee!
This is a cozy and inviting café by the lake. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The coffee is great, and the sandwiches are delicious, along with a variety of tasty sweets and more. They even sell small gifts like coffee beans and soaps. The terrace offers a magnificent view, and the staff is very friendly! It’s a lovely spot to meet with friends, do a bit of work, or simply relax and enjoy yourself.

Favorite café in all kingston. hidden on the back of the tett on the water! the brie lt is just my favorite sandwich of all time and I drove to kingston from ottawa, only for this sandwich. as vegetarian, I often have a difficult time to find consuming and still filling food, but the brie lt is all! her coffee is super tasty, and most of the workers who work there are super friendly: . I recommend going when it is warmer and sunnier out so that they can relive their beautiful terrace.
