Great italian spot if you're not looking to trek downtown. the interior is simple and casual. food all around tasted wonderful and portions sizes are large. i'd... read more Great italian spot if you're not looking to trek downtown. the interior is simple and casual. food all around tasted wonderful and portions sizes are large. i'd recommend the spicy sausage burrata pizza the tomato base was fresh and flavorful. dough was thin. service was okay. waiter got our appetizer wrong and the food took a while to come out. the price is on the higher end for what it is. i would say almost slightly overpriced in comparison to other italian restaurants. good thing the food tasted good. overall a recommended restaurant to try for girls night or date.

It's always half pr... read more Celebrated our 36th anniversary yesterday at Locale. We were greeted as soon as we arrived and shown to a nice table. Ambiance is very nice. It's always half price wine night on Wednesday's which is a bonus although the first 2 wines we wanted they were out of. Oh well we chose another from their extensive list. Our waiter was awesome and I'm sorry I didn't catch his name. When I told him of our celebration he brought us over 2 glasses of champagne. Nice touch! Food was delicious!!! Had grilled calamari to start and I opted for a vegan meal which I have never had and it was sooo good! My husband had a spicy sausage pasta which was the best I have ever tasted! The pizza that was ordered at the next table looked amazing. Next time as I will definitely go back.

We all had various mains Funghi pizza, Branzino, Margarita pizza and shared a burrata and Calamari to start. Great service, great friends, wonderful meal I think we split a tiramisu before we split. Yum.

Calamari appetizer was only a small handful of squid pieces, regular deep fried calamari, same as other restaurants but much smaller portion. Ordered two cornish hen dishes. Based on the price and description, expected whole or half of a hen. Received only leg and thigh. Meat was dry and overall portion was quite small.
