Taco X is a fantastic spot for delicious, freshly made street tacos. My family of 6 had a wonderful experience with excellent service, despite the understaffing. We enjoyed the freshly baked chips and guacamole, as well as the hot churros for dessert - especially when paired with the tasty chocolate and caramel sauces. The margaritas were decent, but we didn't mind as they complemented our meal perfectly. The restaur... View all feedback.
What Sebastian D doesn't like about Taco X:
My group of 4 walked into the restaurant and were seated, but we waited over 15 minutes for service despite there being few other tables to attend to. Two of us ordered margaritas - one house and one premium - but they both tasted like rubbing alcohol and were undrinkable. The staff removed the drinks from our bill after we barely touched them. I ordered the three beef tacos, which had some flavor but the meat was dr... View all feedback.
Food is great, just what you need after a day of skiing. Margs are trash, stick to beer.
The owner and staff are as good as it gets, they couldn't possible do more for you. Solid food with generous portions and timely (which is great when dining with little kids). Overall great experience and we will be back.
I was extremely disappointed with this meal. The bartender was nice and the service was fine but the food itself was horrible. The nachos basically had no cheese on them and the tiny amount was not even melted. We got the $18 burritos, one brisket and one pork. The quality of the food was shocking and was certainly not fresh and had no flavor. I use to cook at a restaurant and the burritos were clearly microwaved. One of burritos was made with 2 tortillas and inside the burrito was very little ingredients and just the tortilla rolled into itself. We order house margaritas to start, and it was almost all ice, which is usual, but the size of the glass was small and there was very little to no tequila in it. Not only was the food terrible, the prices in my opinion were outrageous. 1 nacho, 2 burritos, and 4 drinks was $106 (price of the meal, not including tip). I rarely leave bad reviews as I would not want to hurt a business but I felt this review was necessary.
We recently ordered for takeout at this place and were really excited to eat there. But we found the found too be very expensive for the portions. The chips were $7 and extremely burnt. For four people it caused $91.
I never write yelp reviews, but this experience called for it. The food was inedible and we could barely get through one taco. Somehow 3 straight up bad tacos were $19. Amazing service, but sadly, would recommend avoiding this place. Not good.
