What Brian H doesn't like about Phat Italian Market Deli:
I really hate this place. 1) their posted closing time is 7pm. However this is not accurate. I have been turned away at 6:55, 6:45 and 6:40. To make matters worse, they close serving hot food at 6:30. Are you serious??? 6:30 is still dinner time folks. 2) their prices on wine are not posted. So you have to make your selection, take it to the register and hope for the best. 3) when you get to the register, expect to p... View all feedback.
I found this place on yelp and I had to stop by and give it a try and Boy did it deliver. I wish I would have came to this place earlier. They have a super large menu that packed with subs. I'm from HighPoint NC and wish we had something like this. Please come to high Point I'll eat here everyday. It's only 885 miles away lol.
Was in Killington Vermont over the weekend for a little getaway with my boyfriend and we always stop in The Phat Italian for our essentials for our trip along with plenty of snacks. The other day I decided it was way to cold for me to snowboard so I went into town got my nails done and on the way back I passed our house and noticed the boys haven't come back from the mountain yet so off to The Phat Italian I went to grab some lunch. When I walked in there was a bit of a line but one of the men behind the counter took my order rite away which was nice. It took about 10-15 mins for them to make me my sandwich with all the other orders being placed. I got honey turkey with american cheese red onion lettuce and mayo on toasted white bread. It was a really great sandwich and I can't wait to come back and try some of their other awesome sandwiches and salads.
Great hidden gem on the killington access road. at first glance appears to just be a gas station, but inside is a full deli, wine and cheese shop, and coffee in addition to the normal convenience store options. i love the deli, so many hot and cold sandwich options. plus the large is absolutely gigantic, so one large sub ended up being about 3 meals for me, maybe 2 for a hungrier eater. the bread is really fresh and there are tons of combinations of deli meats way beyond the normal turkey, roast beef, or ham. i got the gambini which came with prosciutto, soppresata, mortadella, sun dried tomatoes, arugula, and roasted garlic spread. so delicious! we also got giant pickles (so amazing) and macaroni salad on the side. can't wait to go back for my next sandwich.
DELICIOUS breakfast and lunch!!! Very reasonable pricing and great staff. Great convenience stop too and has great cheese wine and beer sections.
CHEAP SNACKS DELI COUNTER for your sandwich needs before or after you hit the killington slopes!! PLUS they had $1 italian ice here.. so refreshing! need alcohol? they have a beer cave for your needs!
