Great experience with a family of skiers. We’ve come back many times over the past couple decades as an aprés ski meal. It is pricey and lacked a bit in menu selection and quality this past time we visited. Of course, we had to order the Goombay Smashes which are always a hit! View all feedback.
What Peter Steinberg doesn't like about The Foundry At Summit Pond:
Great atmosphere, with live music. Had the porterhouse steak. Cooked perfectly. Only compliant was the tenderloin portion seemed a little small compared to other places I had before…maybe it’s the cut hereThe sides were not my favorite. The garlic mash was lacking flavor, was more on the bland side.Maple roasted brussels sprouts. Was lacking the crispness. View all feedback.
By far the nicest restaurant in Vermont. Great food, such an enjoyable atmosphere, amazing live music and the kindest waiters and service!
Great service great variety of dishes would definitely go back.
Had dinner with three others. Pretty good food. I had the chicken marsala, $29. Portions were not very big and we paid resort prices, There was a nice 3 piece jazz band playing during our dinner
Delicious food, friendly service, cozy atmosphere... perfect for a warm delicious meal after a fun day on the slopes.... take note they usually do not take reservations so get there early during busy winter season
Excellent food and superior service. We had two of the daily specials, pasta with mushrooms and scallops and haddock over white cheddar grits which were both phenomenal. Also had the rack of lamb which was cooked perfectly. The scallops were an add-on suggested by our server, Ryan, which was definitely the right choice. He also suggested a Carpazo Sangiovese which was an excellent pairing with the pasta dish. Outstanding service. Ryan constantly checked back to see if we needed anything and was very personable. Highly recommend and definitely will go back.
