Nothing was too much trouble . Can recommend the cauliflower soup and sourdough bread delicious, several of the table ordered steak and they were cooked perfectly , the ribeye was very good. 2 had the monkfish and artichoke for starters and were very happy with both. Service was prompt and atmosphere very relaxing and enjoyable.

The food was superb, we all went fo... read more I recently dined with friends at the Mapas restaurant, one of the party said it was better than a Michelin star restaurant!! The food was superb, we all went for the smoked salmon starter and the tandoori chicken main course. The manager, Stephen was...so professional and could not have been more attentive as well as the waiter whose names escapes me but hails from Romania. The atmosphere and the service was out of this world. I could not recommend this restaurant highly enough. I look forward to dining here very soon again. Yvonne.
