Excellent service, good food and affordable prices.
Such nice staff, wonderful views and the food is delish! Recently visited and will most definitely come back. The seafood was so fresh and the steaks that my friends had were cooked perfectly. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for small, but full of great food and outstanding atmosphere!
Family of four found this place on google and so glad that we did! The food was hot fresh and delicious! We had hot crab dip, fish and chips and chicken caprese sandwich and sweet potato fries. It was so delicious would definitely come here again.
This is a great breakfast spot. We enjoyed the egg white omelette. The banana bread French toast was amazing! You have to try this. We also had their fruit medley and their two eggs with bacon breakfast. The next time I return to the outer Banks I amdefinitely going to get the banana bread French toast. For those of you that follow me you know I often forget to take photosthis is no exception we prayed and dove right in sorry I don't have any photos : .
We both ordered virgin piña coladas, which turned out to be more like watery, flavored shaved ice rather than creamy drinks—definitely lacked flavor. For dinner, my husband chose a chicken pasta dish, which was the better of the two entrees. The sauce was quite tasty, and the pasta was okay, but the chicken was incredibly dry and unappealing. Now, onto my dish, which was where everything really went downhill. I ordered the Outer Banks seafood platter, and it included about four shrimp, four scallops, a crab cake, a trigger fish fillet, potatoes, and seasonal vegetables. The shrimp still had their tails on and were tough and rubbery. The scallops were also rubbery and had a strong, unpleasant taste. The trigger fish was watery and definitely didn’t taste fresh. None of the seafood was seasoned well. The crab cake was somewhat acceptable, but the seasonal vegetables were a disgrace—mushy, watery carrots and bland green and wax beans in a tasteless sauce. The most edible part of my entire platter was probably the potatoes, which, while lacking in flavor, at least weren’t offensive. To top it all off, this disappointing meal cost $35. It ended up being one of the most expensive meals of our entire trip, and by far the worst. We even struggled to leave because our waitress vanished and we had to get another staff member to find her. Overall, this was a crushing disappointment, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.
