Max's Italian And Pizzeria

On our first night of vacation, we decided to keep it simple and go for pizza. We opted not to try Max's pizza and instead grabbed some from Food Lion. The staff there were extremely helpful, and we ended up ordering a Margherita pizza that was probably the best we've ever had—we've had quite a bit of pizza! The crust was fantastic, and the spices were perfect. Highly recommended!

The food was absolutely delicious, and the staff was incredibly friendly and funny. My niece and I shared a plate of spaghetti with marinara sauce, sausage, and meatballs. We also ordered the bruschetta, which was AMAZING! I usually make my own bruschetta and feel like no one else can match it, but this one definitely did! Additionally, we shared a Caesar salad. It was a pleasant surprise to find such great food in a small strip-mall restaurant.

We were the first customers of the day and enjoyed a Margherita pizza after a long 12-hour drive. Our server was extremely friendly, contributing to the relaxed and casual atmosphere of the restaurant. My family and I will definitely return in the future.

The best Italian food we had throughout the trip. Was a good break from seafood anywhere else (not wrong with seafood, but not 5 nights). The youngest son accidentally knocked off his meatball with his first bite. Server quickly and happily replaces it for him! Would recommend.

Honestly, idk how this place doesn?t have a higher rating! If you had a bad experience I encourage you to go back! We all LOVED our food. My favorite chicken Alfredo to date and my mom said the same thing. My dad got the crab ravioli and loved it. My kids got cheese pizza and loved it(I snuck a bite and agree) and we got the pizza rolls which were delicious and much bigger than expected. We ended the night with pistachio gelato and loved it. Our server was amazing and made sure we had all we needed and we didn?t have to ask for refills not once. We ate at 5 different places on the trip and this was my favorite by far. 10 stars!!!
