It was early morning before the large line o... read more I love going here, great book selection and amazing coffee. Unfortunately our last trip was less than satisfactory. It was early morning before the large line of visitors arrived. We were the only coffee orders in line and our drinks had to be remade not once but twice and the muffins we ordered were wrong, which we didn't even discover until later. I know everyone is working hard and this season is a struggle but as someone in a food service job, you still have to pay attention and give the customers what they ordered. Maybe I will come back in the fall if things slow down...

I got two wo... read more I had the most Amazing experience here! It’s my last day of vacation, and I wished I had stopped in here first so I could have come back every day. I got two wonderful books that were recommended by the highly knowledgeable and extremely friendly staff! Plus the iced vanilla lavender latte was to die for! Can’t wait to come back on my next visit to the OBX.

I remember when they moved the Powder Ridge Hunt lodge from its original location and converted it into this very unique coffee/book boutique. Just today I was served by Jodi, Mandy, Lisa and a newer employee (name? who was also very sweet! Very cool location to read a book and chill with a coffee and scone!
