The staff was very friendly and helped us with whatever we needed. The location is perfect because it is walkable and you are right down the street from everything. We would definitely stay here again!

The first night we were in an amazing room room 74, but there was a sewage smell and the bathroom sink would not drain. They had us stay there for one night (we opened the windows). They took a few dollars off our bill and the next day they moved us to a smaller room way out back. I felt like I was on someone's back porch. When arranging this hotel, we got an email offering to pre arrange a four course meal. So we did this and paid for it in advance. When we got to the restaurant last night, they didn't seem to know what that was. So one hand isn't talking to the other and they are not giving out clear information. We also got a phone call today to say that the four course meal didn't cover our drinks. The waitress had told us drinks were part of it. So we were confused. In general, beautiful hotel, close to things in town, but we won't stay there again. The staff working in the restaurants are lovely. The folks at the front desk are also lovely. Somewhere in management there is a lack of communication. We loved Kilkenny but the hotel situation was not the best. We would choose a different hotel.
