Langtons in Kilkenny offers a variety of food and friendly staff. Although some diners were disappointed with the quality of their meals, others praised the service and atmosphere. One guest found the stir fry to be overloaded with coriander, while another enjoyed a great wedding experience with delicious food. Attended gig at set and had dinner before hand . Great food, fresh food and super choice on menu, freindly staff and a nice pint . Gig in set was great . Well worth a visit for lunch , dinner or creamy pints . Set is a great place for gigs of all kinds .
It is certainly not a 4 star but it is a clean hotel, if old style, whose staff is kind. We enjoyed dinner with live music.
Four if us went for dinner, we had four different starters, all delicious. The main courses were also delicious, especially the trio of fish, all BIG portions, looking at the desert menu, i would have loved one, but we were too full, but shared a gorgeous berry tort. One dinner had to be Gluten Free, and this was absolutly no problem at all. Johnny was exceptional, especially when helping to choose the wine. overall a fab evening with fab food. well done Langtons
Had a work night out here. Food was beautiful and service was excellent.
The room was old in a good way! It seemed to have been an old studio apartment from 100+ years ago. The furniture was a bit gaudi, but fine. The bed was great and we slept the best we had in the whole trip. Little things were a miss, but nothing that made us bring down the rating. Service was spot on. The biggest pluss was that the hotel is close to evey attraction.
