We decided to pop into the restaurant for a drink and to use the restroom. The local hurling match was on TV, and it was enjoyable to watch it with the locals who were just as passionate as my husband is when watching football. We ended up staying to cheer and commiserate with them, but unfortunately, their team ended up losing.
We were recommended this restaurant by a local when we stopped and asked for good local bars. He was correct. It is a great place to visit, with a friendly and hospitable atmosphere. Be sure to stop by and chat with the bartender.
This pub is an absolute gem. The choice of drinks it's amazing. The atmosphere is second to none. There is a great selection of live music on most nights that really makes the place special. Fantastic beer garden out the back is great when we get the sunshine however has heaters to get you through the rest of the year. The staff are all so friendly and welcoming. If you're around this area make sure to pop in and enjoy.
