When it comes to warm welcomes you'll struggle to find a better place. It's becoming a really good Start and Finish spot for Stags and Hens passing through the town considering how close it is to the Smitchwicks brewery. No crowd is too big or small for them. Just land in..
Popped into this pub on our way over to Smithwicks. Decided to eat and have a few pints. Food was excellent (especially the chicken Cesar wrap) and the staff was great. Will return next year!
A really lovely pub, with a small entrance but plenty of room inside, and a very welcoming owner with whom we chatted for a bit before being served. We had an excellent classic Irish stew by the fire with a nice pint; it was a truly comforting moment in a typical setting.
