I ordered eggs benedict without the ham or tomato (I have never seen tomato on eggs benedict) along with seasoned potatoes, a side of pork sausage links, and a large grapefruit juice (which was bottled, not freshly squeezed). The eggs were hard poached, and I know this wasn't just a one-time mistake, as I've seen similar complaints in other reviews. Why would they serve them that way? Eggs benedict should have soft poached eggs. The hollandaise sauce had an overpowering lemon taste and a very runny consistency. I was aware the eggs would come on ciabatta bread, which struck me as a bit odd. If they wanted to avoid English muffins, they could have opted for brioche instead. The larger pieces of seasoned potatoes were hard and undercooked, while the smaller ones were either properly cooked or burnt. I'm not sure if I can fully blame the restaurant for this, as they likely use pre-cut potatoes. I asked for mustard, only to be told they only offer Dijonaise, which is a mix of Dijon mustard and mayo. What kind of restaurant doesn't have regular mustard? I think I’ll stick to Brunch-Cafe on the other side of the plaza.

The decor and design is very fresh and open. The watermelon wake up is fantastic for a breakfast juice. All of the food I have tried here has been phenomenal. They have breakfast and lunch and picking just one thing to order is a challenge...in a good way. Highly recommend checking out First Watch if you haven't already!
