I ordere... read more This burger joint is now in the Whole Foods on Kingsbury but since i was in the area, i thought I would stop in the original in Kildeer. Im glad I did! I ordered the double cheeseburger (no ketchup) and onion strings. The burger is fantastic, its saltyand unctuous and perfectly balanced with the cheese and pickles. The best thing is the price (less than $10) for a burger thatcompetes with some city staples. The onion strings were on-point. Crispy, fried to perfection but not greasy, and its realonions!! Use the dipping sauces too, its excellent!! My fave was the habanero cause it had that apricot quality before the heathits you. Try them all (ghost pepper is strong tomato puree garlic with intense heat lighter is the smokey green chiliserrano)! Staff is friendly and so is the owner!! I will definitely be getting more burgers at the Kingsbury location.

My son and I shared the smoked burger and the flocking chicken sandwich to sample both, and they were both quite tasty. My wife and daughter each ordered a cheeseburger, with my daughter also choosing the onion strings. This part was a bit confusing—the onion strings were actually made from red onions and came as large onion discs rather than strings, with the breading falling off most of them. We only had water to drink, but the total for four sandwiches and the onion sides would have been $70 with drinks; our bill was $54, which felt somewhat expensive. The atmosphere was affected by a large, empty bar area at the front, making it seem like the place was closing or shutting down. Also, the menu didn’t feature any pictures or descriptions of the onion strings, leading to an expectation of traditional onion strings. Including a photo or clearer description on the menu would be helpful. Thanks for the experience! Though I live too far to visit again soon, I might stop by Fresh Stack Burger Co if I’m in the area.
