(Kauai Resident) I used to love The Bistro, their food was exceptionally good quality at such a reasonable price, I don't know what happened to them but they ha... read more (Kauai Resident) I used to love The Bistro, their food was exceptionally good quality at such a reasonable price, I don't know what happened to them but they have really taken a dive, we just ordered some food to go and were very disappointed, the braisedbeef looked NOTHING LIKE THE ONLINE MENU, the fish rockets were $14 and they only gave us 2 (there's usually 4, we've gotten itbefore) with a little bit of cabbage salad and threw it in a box, the chili pepper chicken was the only item that was a goodportion and it was so incredibly salty we had to stop eating it. For $50 you'd expect more from a place like this. We heardtheir menu has changed since there being a new chef, I hope they go back to the old recipes because we loved them.

The restaurant patio is lovely but requires reservations well in advance, the bar and back room do walk-ins to the same menu. Traditional cocktails satisfy the islandcravings.

We... read more Great food and reasonably priced, considering we are on an island. We got the prosciutto and goat cheese bites that are covered with pecans and honey… yummy! We also got the wings which had light breading that was crispy and came with ranch, buffalosauce, and ketchup for the fries. We split the burger… asked for a cheeseburger but it came out with no cheese. Not enough tosend it back, because it was still very good. We are looking forward to coming back again tomorrow night. About a 10 minutedrive from Princeville Westin.
