Yet despite these oddities, the food at thes... read more There's an increasing trend of restaurants finding their homes in gas stations (for whatever reasons I don't know). Yet despite these oddities, the food at these places tends to be outstanding. Havens is no different. We got the Paniolo smash burger andthe dry noodle. The smash burger was good it was quite large and the balance of flavours was well constructed. The dry noodlethough is mind blowing. It's hard to put into words exactly why it's so good. Likely it's a culmination of intense wok hei (thatsmoky, wok seared flavour), a garlic chili oil for the stir fry, an abundance of aromatics and impeccable preparation of eachingredient in the stir fry. The egg strips had an ethereal, bouncy texture akin to that of something between an omelette and aflan. It was so good that we got another plate for the road. And the leftovers were almost as amazing 3 hours in. Just keep inmind that they don't have the noodle dishes in their new Kahului location. If you've read this far, do yourself a favour bypaying them a visit. I can assure you that you won't regret it. The dry noodle is stellar and this is up there among the beststir fry noodles from any Asian restaurant I've visited in the past.

There's also pies and tarts available at the till, which is always a nice treat. There is a small sitting area inthe front area that can fit 6 8 people max if you want to eat there or to sit while you wait! The entrance is in front of theshell gas pumps, and is the same entrance to the convenience store as well

It was pretty g... read more This is a perfectly good burger place, but don?t go with high expectations. I got the breakfast burger. It was well cooked and the bun was soft. It was pretty greasy. I also got the kolohe fries. I?d get them again if I remembered to order them crispy.They were very soft and it quickly turned into a potato salad. Overall, a great burger considering its located in a conveniencestore.

Such a great balance of flavors in this fish sandwich and highly recommend ????????
