The service at this restaurant w... read more After three months of hard work to improve the previous owner's bad reputation, it is clear to me that the effort has paid off. The service at this restaurant was fast and friendly, with chatty and welcoming staff. The chips were delicious and the portion size was very generous. Unlike other places I've been to, I didn't have to wait 20-30 minutes for a simple order. The restaurant was undergoing deep cleaning when I visited, showing that it is well maintained. Despite this, the service was still excellent. As a former chef of 10 years, I am quite picky about food, and I would give this restaurant a 9 out of 10. Keep up the great work - I will definitely recommend this place to others.

The chips were okay but there were a lot of small pieces. The curry sauce was awful, it was full of bits and stone cold again, really terrible. Maybe they should turn up the heat on the hot plate. The fish is not fresh, it is from a box. It doesn't look like fresh fish at all. I will not be returning, Karen had it right with her fresh, hot fish and chips and perfect hot curry sauce. The prices were great. It seems that all the new owners have done is raise prices and skimp on quality.
